Declaration of force majeureDue to the effect of the civil war in Yemen, Group 4S Security Services Yemen Limited was unable to conduct business in a safe, secure and sustainable manner.
The Company therefore declared force majeure and ceased all operations in Yemen on Sunday 21st June 2015. G4S has not operated in Yemen since that date.
We are aware that a security business is operating in the country unlawfully using the G4S name and brand. Regretfully we have so far been unable to prevent that from happening. That business is in no way connected to G4S and we take on responsibility for no aspect of that business.
We are sorry for any confusion that this may cause any third parties.
